‘Piece by piece’: Trump administration vows to dismantle the International Criminal Court with sweeping new sanctions

Several U.S. allies, including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France and Japan, expressed strong disagreement in a joint statement. The ICC stated it would continue to fully discharge its mandate with independence and impartiality.
