Santa Clara-based Eliyan has received at least one takeover bid just months after raising $145 million at a $1 billion valuation. The company has hired an investment bank to explore strategic options with a potential valuation of $3 billion, roughly triple its July 2026 valuation. Eliyan designs high-speed chiplet interconnects to improve GPU efficiency, currently limited to 30-40% due to bandwidth constraints. Founded in 2021, the company has raised over $250 million total and planned to ship its first chiplet products by end of 2026. Arm had previously held preliminary acquisition discussions with Eliyan and invested $5 million in the startup.
