Ledger is investigating a Southeast Asia reseller named CryptoBilis, suspected of facilitating the theft of over $80 million from hardware wallet users. Crypto analysts Specter and Tanuki42 estimated losses between $72 and $86 million. CryptoBilis, which claims to be Ledger’s authorized reseller in Malaysia, has been asked to pause all sales and shipments. Users who purchased devices from this reseller in the past 90 days have been advised not to set up the devices and to move their assets to a new wallet.
