Hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger is investigating loss of user funds after customers in South East Asia reported issues with devices bought from reseller CryptoBilis, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Paris-based company advised buyers from the last 90 days not to set up their devices and asked CryptoBilis to pause all sales. A blockchain investigator estimated over $86 million in traced losses. Ledger specified the incident was isolated to this reseller and that its own systems were not compromised.
