Vesu, a lending protocol operating on Starknet, now offers weekly STRK token rewards to users who borrow stablecoins using Bitcoin as collateral. These rewards, accessible through the Sats Terminal interface, can bring net interest rates close to zero or even negative if the collected STRK value exceeds the interest owed. The Starknet Foundation’s BTCFi Season program has allocated 100 million STRK to encourage this activity. Vesu V2, launched in October 2025, expanded its collateral pools to include tokenized BTC in five forms: WBTC, LBTC, SolvBTC, tBTC, and strkBTC. However, the actual value of these rewards remains tied to the STRK price at the time of claiming, and the attractiveness of these incentivized loans will depend on the program’s long-term sustainability.
