U.S. Treasury yields largely steadied on Friday as President Donald Trump pledged not to launch any strikes against Iran before next month’s midterm election. The 10-year Treasury yield held steady at 5.2399%, the 30-year yield at 5.6150%, while the 2-year yield rose more than 2 basis points to 4.7827%. Oil prices declined after Trump’s comments, with WTI crude falling 0.79% to $90.77 a barrel and Brent crude down 0.99% at $103.25. The Treasury Department successfully sold $22 billion in 30-year notes and $39 billion in 10-year notes.
