Justin Sun has over the past week been announcing winners of the Justin Sun Prize, an award created a few weeks ago to reward mathematicians who solve long-standing problems in math using AI. According to the prize’s website, six problems have been solved by three individuals, but it remains unclear what they will win or when they will receive their prizes. The initial one-million-dollar prize in stablecoins is actually reserved only for so-called “pinnacle problems,” which represent only 7 out of more than 1,015 listed problems. The composition of the Academic Committee responsible for determining compensation and the criteria for awarding other categories of problems remain unclarified, leaving winners uncertain about their potential remuneration.
