Mecka raises $60M Series B led by Sequoia to build robotics training data

Mecka.ai, a startup based in New York and Toronto, has raised 60 million dollars in Series B funding led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from NVIDIA, M12 (Microsoft’s venture fund), Qualcomm Ventures and Samsung. The company collects egocentric data, meaning videos and motion captured from the first-person perspective of people performing tasks, to build datasets for training humanoid robots and embodied AI systems. The company, which employs between 40 and 60 people, disclosed an annualized revenue of over 100 million dollars as of June 2026 and expects to reach 300 million dollars by year end. In total, Mecka has raised 128 million dollars across three funding rounds.
