Robinhood adds $25 million of Bitcoin to its own balance sheet

Robinhood announced a $25 million Bitcoin allocation to its balance sheet, representing less than 0.5% of the $5.362 billion in cash and equivalents reported on June 30, 2026. The company also held $155 million in stablecoins. Johann Kerbrat, senior vice president and general manager of crypto and international, justified the allocation as part of an asset diversification strategy. This decision follows an earlier internal debate about shareholder benefit and does not specify whether it is a recurring program. The company also acquired Bitstamp for approximately $224 million in June 2025.
