World Liberty Financial, backed by the Trump family, plans to expand its payments technology to large Web2 companies, with a focus on disbursing funds to drivers, contractors, and content creators. The firm relies on its USD1 stablecoin, launched in March 2025, which has reached a circulation of approximately $4 billion to $4.4 billion across Ethereum and BNB Chain as of October 2026. It has also developed AgentPay, an SDK enabling AI agents to handle USD1 transactions autonomously, as well as World Swap, a forex and remittance platform targeting a market that processes approximately $7 trillion annually. In August 2026, USD1 received preliminary approval for a national trust bank charter from the OCC. WLFI signed a memorandum of understanding with MOA Protocol on October 1, 2026, to expand USD1’s role in remittances and payments, with South Korea flagged as a potential early market.
