French fintech Spiko has announced a $90 million Series B funding round, bringing its total raised since inception to $120 million. The round was led by US fund New Enterprise Associates (NEA), with participation from Index Ventures, Bpifrance, Speedinvest, Flourish Ventures, and Wintermute Ventures, as well as individual investors including Axel Weber, former president of the Bundesbank. The platform now manages $2.7 billion in assets for over 10,000 clients across more than 25 jurisdictions, up from just over $400 million in January, representing monthly growth exceeding 15 %. Spiko offers blockchain-based tokenized money market funds accessible to businesses and individuals, and now claims to surpass BlackRock and Franklin Templeton in assets under management in this segment.
