MetaDAO has launched Backable, a permissionless fundraising platform on Solana. Formerly known as Futardio, the platform has already recorded $44.2 million in commitments from 2,407 backers, with a median contribution of approximately $500. Founders can launch campaigns without prior authorization, with funds held in escrow and released according to a predefined monthly budget. If a project fails to reach its minimum funding goal, backers receive a full refund. Twelve raises have been completed successfully so far, bringing in roughly $728,000.
