Cohere, a Toronto-based enterprise AI company, has launched North 2, a major update to its agentic AI platform released in August and September 2026. The new version introduces persistent memory, allowing agents to retain context across sessions, alongside shared libraries that facilitate collaboration between teams. The deployment runs entirely within each company’s own infrastructure, including air-gapped environments, requiring a minimum of two GPUs. The platform meets GDPR and SOC-2 standards and already serves major clients including RBC, Dell, and Bell Canada.
