On October 5, 2026, Strategy, Metaplanet, and Strive announced new Bitcoin acquisitions bringing their combined treasury to over 921,000 BTC, a new all-time high. Strategy acquired 334 additional BTC, reaching 848,000 BTC and recovering from summer sales, with $21 billion in unrealized gains for Q3 2026. Strive purchased 2,000 BTC for $169 million, bringing its total to 29,462 BTC. Metaplanet reached 44,000 BTC after selling 10,000 BTC and repurchasing 11,000 BTC, an operation driven by an estimated tax benefit of $97 million. Together, these three Bitcoin Treasury Companies hold approximately 4.4% of Bitcoin’s maximum supply of 21 million units.
