YouTuber Felix Kjellberg, known as PewDiePie, launched his own AI model called Ajax around October 1, 2026. It is a 9-billion-parameter model based on Alibaba’s Qwen3.5-9B, designed to run on consumer hardware and serve as an autonomous assistant within his self-hosted workspace Odysseus. OpenAI reportedly suspended his account twice, accusing him of using outputs from its models, including one referred to as Sol, to generate training data for Ajax through a process called distillation. The model also incorporates an abliteration technique to reduce its tendency to refuse requests, making it less restrictive. As of now, Ajax lacks a public model card, published benchmarks, or a confirmed download link.
