The app was downloaded between 2.5 and 2.8 million times in two weeks in the United States. Meta quickly integrated multiple payment options including Stripe Link, Shopify Shop Pay and PayPal to enable actual transactions. The company plans to monetize the tool primarily through per-transaction fees rather than subscriptions. Amazon blocked Muse from accessing its platform, creating a significant gap in what the AI agent can shop for.
