San Francisco-based startup Halluminate has raised $30 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $38.5 million. Founded in 2024 by two Cornell alumni, the nine-person company creates reinforcement-learning environments that allow AI agents to practice financial tasks without touching production systems. It counts four leading US AI labs and the two largest browser-based AI agent companies among its customers. The round led by Oak HC/FT reflects growing investor appetite for AI infrastructure plays, particularly in the financial sector.
