Hedera +30%, Quant Pulls Back, Chainlink Relaunches CCIP – The Altcoin Update

On Tuesday, September 29, altcoins are digesting a sharp pullback, with the CoinDesk 100 index dropping 2.6% the previous day as 91 constituents closed in the red. Quant tripled its price in one week, driven by The Clearing House’s choice of the token for its tokenized deposits initiative, before falling 16% on Monday, while Hedera gained about 30% in 24 hours, supported by its joining Nvidia’s Open Agent Safety Platform and handing its Cross-Ledger Protocol to the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust. Chainlink launched CCIP 2.0, allowing institutions to run their own verification nodes, and saw its LINK token rise 7.3% to $15.18, five months after the Kelp DAO hack that cost $292 million. Institutional flows remain strong, notably Bitmine holding 6,001,302 ETH and Solana ETFs attracting $188 million in weekly inflows, yet Ethereum and Solana prices continue to lag.
