Uzbekistan has secured over 6 billion dollars in private investment commitments to develop its artificial intelligence infrastructure by the end of the decade. The country plans to deploy 800 megawatts of new computing power, while existing facilities are already operating at nearly 90 percent utilization. Among the flagship projects, the TAS-1 data center, developed by DataVolt in Tashkent’s IT Park, will have an initial capacity of 12 megawatts and has secured 150 million dollars in financing from the EBRD and the OPEC Fund. The country targets a domestic artificial intelligence market of 1.5 billion dollars by 2030, with a first wave of capacity expected in November 2026.
