Gate.io’s traditional finance (TradFi) desk posted $16.86 billion in September trading volume, a sharp jump from $12.58 billion in August. Gold and silver trades alone accounted for 54% of the platform’s total TradFi activity, with cumulative metals trading reaching $18.3 billion by September 23, surpassing August’s entire TradFi output on its own. Gate.io now lists 1,022 TradFi instruments including CFDs, tokenized equities, and commodities contracts, more than four times its nearest competitor. The platform ranks third globally with roughly 10.7% of the tracked market share, with daily volumes frequently approaching or exceeding $1.6 billion. From January through August 2026, cumulative TradFi trading totaled $135.5 billion.
