October is historically Bitcoin’s most bullish month, with an average return of about 19% over thirteen years and a positive close in ten out of thirteen years between 2013 and 2025. In 2025, however, Bitcoin disappointed, falling about 4% after hitting a record above $126,000, with ETF funds receiving $4.7 billion in inflows during the first half of the month. In September 2026, Bitcoin has regained momentum, climbing about 9% and reaching an eight-month high above $87,000, with assets like Solana, XRP, NEAR, LINK, and Zcash posting significant gains. If positive ETF demand and favorable macro conditions persist, a continuation toward higher levels is plausible, but a straight-line acceleration would leave the market vulnerable to leverage-driven corrections.
