The attacker behind the $388 million Bitget hack has moved approximately 54 million XRP from three of the five wallets that originally held the stolen funds. Nearly 103 million XRP was taken from Bitget, initially worth around $160 million, equivalent to about 4% of XRP’s reported daily trading volume of $4.4 billion. Roughly 49 million XRP, worth about $75 million, remained distributed across the original five accounts. XRP is trading around $1.47 today, down about 3% in 24 hours, while still holding a weekly gain of 3%. Bitget has said its protection fund covers the loss and customer balances remain unaffected, with a phased withdrawal resumption timeline from September 28 to October 2.
