MultiversX announced the resumption of block production on its mainnet on September 24, after approximately five days of halt caused by the exploitation of a virtual-machine atomicity issue. The network deployed a recovery upgrade and normal activity resumed. However, Kraken still maintained EGLD trading in cancel-only mode and suspended deposits and withdrawals, with no reopening date indicated. The lifting of the network alert does not automatically mean the reopening of services on exchange platforms, as each exchange must complete its own restart process.
