Kelp DAO has filed a lawsuit against LayerZero and its co-founder Bryan Pellegrino, accusing them of being responsible for the rsETH bridge exploit that resulted in a $292 million loss in April. The attack exploited a vulnerability in the token bridging mechanism between blockchain networks. LayerZero, a cross-chain interoperability provider, and its co-founder are now the subject of this legal proceeding. Kelp DAO is seeking damages to recover the funds lost during this incident.
