Venture capital firm Solari Capital, founded by AJ Scaramucci, son of SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci, emerged from stealth with 350 million dollars deployed across early-stage deals, late-stage growth, and in-house incubated companies. Its backers include Ron Conway, Jim Breyer, Stephen Pagliuca, Eric Schmidt and Peter Diamandis. Solari Capital argues that ordinary investors should gain broader access to assets traditionally reserved for wealthy individuals, such as collectibles, and that early-stage value creation remains locked too long within venture portfolios. Professor Jay Ritter, known as Mr. IPO, confirms this trend with median company age at IPO reaching 13.5 years in 2024, compared to 6 to 9 years in the 1990s, and only 34 tech listings in 2025 versus 205 in 1995. Solari Capital’s portfolio includes xAI, Suno, Tessera Therapeutics, Varda Space and Northwood Space.
