Dutch deeptech company Morphotonics, based in Veldhoven and specializing in nanoimprint lithography, has raised €40 million from a consortium including 3M Ventures, Innovation Industries, BOM, and Invest-NL. Founded by former Philips engineers, the company develops roll-to-plate nanoimprint lithography systems capable of stamping microscopic optical structures onto substrates up to 1.1 by 1.3 meters in size. Under CEO Hugo da Silva, appointed in October 2024, Morphotonics reported revenue growth of three to four times year-over-year in 2025. The funding will be used to scale manufacturing capacity for data center optics and advanced semiconductor packaging, two rapidly growing markets driven by AI infrastructure demand.
