Strategy acquired 950 additional bitcoins, bringing its holdings to 846,000 BTC, with a market value of approximately $81 million at the $85,000 price point. The company simultaneously repurchased $174 million of its preferred shares STRC, nicknamed Stretch, which is more than double the value of the newly acquired bitcoins. Strategy’s previous average cost basis stood at $75,412 per bitcoin, representing an unrealized gain of approximately 13%. Meanwhile, Strive purchased 1,355 BTC for $107.7 million, 43% more than Strategy, and now holds 26,355 bitcoins. Strategy therefore holds roughly 32 times more bitcoin than Strive, though Strive purchased more bitcoin than Strategy during the latest week.
