ZetaChain validators have approved retiring the project’s standalone L1 blockchain and moving ZETA to Solana. Proposal 68 passed on September 20 with 99.44% approval, with 263.65 million ZETA voting in favor, 744,658 against and 752,300 abstaining. The project is pivoting toward Anuma, a private AI application that has attracted over 300,000 users since February and processed more than 1 million requests across 35 AI models. ZETA will convert 1:1 into a Solana SPL token with unchanged total supply, while a second governance proposal will determine the migration date, exchange conversion process and network shutdown mechanics.
