Bitcoin closed above its 50-week moving average for the first time in 45 weeks, a historical signal that, according to Galaxy Digital, has marked the end of the bear market in 11 out of 13 cases since 2011. BTC showed a gain of nearly 29% over the past 35 days, trading around $81,500 at the time of writing. In the short term, the $82,000 zone represents a major obstacle, with approximately 1.6 million bitcoins purchased between $80,000 and $82,000, representing 8% of the circulating supply. A move toward $83,000 to $86,000 could trigger short position liquidations and amplify the upward momentum. Some analysts, including those at Fidelity Digital Assets, remain cautious and believe the scenario of an ongoing bear market cannot yet be ruled out.
