WisdomTree has integrated MoonPay’s payment infrastructure into its WisdomTree Prime platform to facilitate access to tokenized funds. MoonPay serves over 30 million registered accounts. The partnership provides access to WisdomTree’s tokenized government money market fund WTGXX. This is not a new stablecoin but a regulated money market fund whose ownership and distribution leverage blockchain infrastructure. BlackRock, Franklin Templeton and other major asset managers are also exploring similar products.
