Batch (XLS-56) enables multiple XRP transactions from multiple accounts to be executed atomically in a single ledger close, with a full rollback mechanism if any transaction fails. This upgrade removes the need for trust in execution ordering and serves as the foundation for atomic swaps, coordinated settlements, and institutional workflows such as custody transfers, DvP settlement, and cross-border payment finalization.
