CleanSpark Prices $2.276B Secured Notes For Sandersville Data Center

CleanSpark has priced $2.276 billion of senior secured notes due 2031, carrying a 7.875% annual coupon. Proceeds will fund infrastructure development at its Sandersville, Georgia campus, including capabilities for Bitcoin mining and high-performance computing workloads. The company is diversifying beyond traditional mining into data centers, a strategic shift shared by several industry peers. The debt carries a meaningful interest burden and its success depends on CleanSpark’s ability to generate recurring cash flows from the constructed assets. While the financing avoids immediate shareholder dilution, it adds fixed financial obligations to the balance sheet.
