Mark Walter and Todd Boehly selling stakes in Chelsea Football Club to Clearlake Capital

Mark Walter, co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Todd Boehly, chairman of Chelsea, are selling their minority stakes to Clearlake Capital. Clearlake, which already held 61.5% of the London club, is acquiring the remaining shares, bringing its ownership to 100%. The two men will receive a combined £950 million (approximately $1.27 billion) for their stakes, valuing Chelsea at £5 billion. Todd Boehly is stepping down as chairman of the club, while Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss will remain a shareholder.
