AI-powered American digital health company Sword Health is acquiring Headspace in an all-cash deal valued between $200 million and $300 million. The meditation app, once valued at nearly $3 billion following its 2021 merger with Ginger, is changing hands at a fraction of its former valuation. The acquisition, expected to close by early Q4 2026, will bring Headspace’s base of over 100 million users across 200 countries, along with its network of more than 20,000 enterprise clients, into Sword’s platform. This deal follows Sword’s earlier $285 million purchase of Kaia Health, making roughly $500 million in total acquisition spending in 2026.
