Bitcoin Suisse to Cut Up to Half Its Swiss Jobs in Overseas Shift

Bitcoin Suisse plans to relocate up to 60 positions from its Zug headquarters overseas, primarily back-office and administrative roles, to Bratislava in Slovakia or Vietnam. This restructuring, with first layoffs expected before year-end, aims to cut costs while accelerating international growth. Founded in 2013, the company is shifting from a Swiss crypto specialist to a global wealth manager serving wealthy clients, family offices and institutional investors. It has secured new regulatory licenses in Liechtenstein, Bermuda and Abu Dhabi. The headquarters will remain in Zug and the company name unchanged, according to CEO Andrej Majcen.
