Lightning Development Kit released v0.2.6 on September 9 with fixes for two critical bugs affecting the Bitcoin Lightning network. The first flaw allowed a malicious peer to divert small amounts through excess fee allocation during splice operations. The second bug could prevent saved channel state from loading after rejecting a bogus payment. Affected application teams need to integrate LDK v0.2.6 to apply the fixes. No fund losses or exploits have been observed according to the release notice.
