UK government to ban trade with Israeli settlements on Tuesday

The ban will cover imports, exports, and certain services including financing and advertising connected to settlement activity. The UK is following Spain, which has already implemented a similar ban, while Ireland, the Netherlands, and Belgium are at various stages of progressing their own restrictions. By targeting not just physical goods but also services like financing and advertising, the UK is attempting to close the most obvious workarounds.
