New XRP Ledger Tool Turns Amendment Testing Into Public Scorecard

Share

XRPL developer Denis Angell launched a live dashboard this week that scores every amendment on the XRP Ledger for how much of its functionality has actually been exercised on devnet before it reaches mainnet. The tool, hosted at amendments-staging.xrpl.foundation, automatically reads each amendment’s full spec surface directly from the node and checks whether every transaction type, field, and result code has been exercised by a validated transaction. The dashboard is currently watching 16 amendments on devnet, with 13 still having untested surface, including significant gaps in Sponsor (65 of 107 checks never exercised), XChainBridge (30 of 40 missing), and MPTokensV1 (27 of 102 missing). This week’s scan also turned up 59 total findings: 2 spec bugs, 23 documentation gaps, and 34 test gaps.
