XRP, Ethereum and Solana all retreated on Wednesday after their August rally, with respective declines of 0.4%, 2.4% and 4% over 24 hours. XRP had reached a peak near $1.70 last week before falling back to $1.36, as technical resistance around $1.40-$1.45 resumed control. Solana is planning a major update on September 9, increasing maximum transaction size from 1,232 to 4,096 bytes, representing 3.3 times more capacity. ETF flows into spot XRP remain positive, suggesting this consolidation does not reflect an institutional capital flight.
