French cofounder Sacha Marcus, 19, has sold his on-chain data infrastructure company Mobula to social trading platform Fomo for $17 million. The deal includes proprietary indexing software, intellectual property and part of the French startup’s team, backed by Cetacean Capital. Marcus is joining Fomo’s engineering team alongside CTO Sacha Delhoux and infrastructure lead Cyril Conan. Founded in 2025 and primarily deployed on Solana, Fomo now claims over 1.9 million users with monthly volume approaching $2.8 billion. This acquisition aims to help Fomo internalize its data infrastructure to better secure reliability and latency for its products amid rapid growth.
