Felix Pago raises $200M in Series B funding led by a16z to scale stablecoin remittances

Miami-based fintech Felix Pago closed a $200 million Series B round, with $87 million in equity led by Andreessen Horowitz and a $113 million credit facility provided by General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. The company enables users to send money to Latin America via WhatsApp, settling transactions on the backend using USDC, Circle’s dollar-pegged stablecoin. The platform processed over $1 billion in transfers during 2024 alone, surpassing $5 billion cumulatively across more than one million users in nine Latin American corridors. The funding will support expansion into Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, as well as the launch of lending and savings products for Latin American immigrants in the US.
