Stablecoins: USDT and USDC Back in Growth?

The quantity of stablecoins in circulation is rebounding, estimated at 304 billion dollars total, ending three consecutive months of contraction. During August alone, the combined supply of USDT and USDC increased by approximately 1.7 billion dollars, bringing the total monthly rise to just over 4 billion dollars. Between early May and late July, global supply had fallen from 313.1 billion to nearly 300 billion dollars, with USDC down 5.3 billion and USDT down 6 billion. Wu Blockchain analysts remain cautious, describing this rise as a mere « beginning of liquidity recovery », as current levels still fall short of the thresholds seen in previous bullish cycles, where monthly increases regularly exceeded 10 billion dollars.
