Rising AI Cyberattacks Fuel Demand for CrowdStrike, Sending Stock Up 20.5%

CrowdStrike reported record second-quarter fiscal results with revenue of $1.47 billion, up 26% year over year, beating analysts’ expectations. The company posted adjusted earnings of $0.31 per share and record net new annual recurring revenue of $332.8 million, up 51%. CEO George Kurtz attributed the performance to the Mythos moment, a reference to Anthropic’s Mythos model capable of exploiting unknown software flaws, which elevated AI security to the top of enterprise priority lists. CrowdStrike raised its full-year net new ARR growth forecast to approximately 34% and lifted annual revenue guidance to between $5.99 billion and $6.01 billion.
