Ledger denies hacking allegations after rival company OneKey announced it had reproduced in a lab a transaction-substitution vulnerability affecting its hardware wallet’s Ethereum application in version 1.22.1. Ledger says it fixed the flaw in version 1.22.2, released August 13, before OneKey’s disclosure. The company reports no evidence of exploitation in the wild. Ledger recommends users update the Ethereum app to version 1.22.3 or later and verify the version number shown on the device screen.
