Shares have declined approximately 15% since mid-May, representing a loss of 225 to 270 billion dollars in market capitalization. A 2025 analysis revealed that DeepMind engineers were nearly 11 times more likely to join Anthropic than the reverse, suggesting a one-way talent pipeline flowing directly toward a competitor.
