Nvidia CFO says about half of its data center business comes from customers beyond hyperscalers

Nvidia reported record second quarter fiscal results with revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year over year, beating analyst estimates. Data Center revenue reached $89 billion, with $49 billion from hyperscalers and the remainder from enterprise, industrial and NeoCloud customers, allowing Nvidia to diversify its client base beyond the four or five major tech giants. The company forecast fiscal 2028 annual sales to increase 70% from the prior year and Q3 revenue between $105.8 and $110.1 billion. Venture capital funding in AI exceeded $400 billion in the first half of 2026, with roughly 70% spent on compute, demonstrating that funds raised are flowing back into GPU purchases and cloud rental, benefiting Nvidia.
