Okta, Salesforce, CrowdStrike and Veeva Systems each advanced more than Nvidia in after-hours trading Wednesday following their quarterly results. Okta surged about 19%, Salesforce rose 13%, CrowdStrike added 10% and Veeva Systems climbed 7%, while Nvidia gained only 4% despite adjusted earnings of $2.22 per share on $96.22 billion in revenue, both beating estimates. The mixed market reactions illustrate that beating estimates alone does not always move stocks equally: guidance quality and forward commentary shaped the magnitude of each swing. Agilent Technologies gained 4% and Everpure rose 2%, while Urban Outfitters fell 5%.
