Nvidia doubled its quarterly revenue to $96 billion and crushes estimates—CEO Jensen Huang says demand is accelerating

Nvidia more than doubled its quarterly revenue to $96.2 billion in the second quarter, up 106% year-over-year and 18% sequentially, beating analyst estimates of $92.2 billion. The data center segment, which represents the vast majority of Nvidia’s AI business, generated $89 billion in revenue, up 92% from the prior year. Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share came in at $2.22, surpassing analyst consensus of $2.06 to $2.09. CEO Jensen Huang said demand is accelerating, though guidance for the current quarter of $91 billion fell below market expectations.
