Genuine Parts (GPC) bottomed in May and has been rallying since, forming a bullish cup-and-handle pattern with a price target around $163. The stock has outperformed its main competitors (ORLY, AZO, AAP) over the past few months while they trended lower. Over the past 30 years, GPC has experienced four major drawdowns of approximately 50%, each followed by spectacular rebounds ranging from 180% to 375%. The current rally stands at roughly 50% from the yearly low, and a return to all-time highs would represent a 110% gain from that bottom.
