Ngrave releases ZERO firmware 1.8, adds Polygon token support and open-source QR protocol

Share

Ngrave released firmware version 1.8 for its ZERO hardware wallet on August 25, introducing two major changes: an open-source Universal QR Protocol under MIT license that replaces the legacy communication system, and full token support on the Polygon network. This update adds support for USDC, USDT, WETH, WBTC, DAI, AAVE, LINK and UNI on Polygon, along with PAXG and AMP on Ethereum and USDT on MultiversX. At the same time, over 100 inactive or legacy tokens were removed, as well as support for BNB Beacon Chain and Groestlcoin. Ngrave strengthens its transparency position by publishing manifest signatures and SHA-256 hashes to allow users to verify firmware integrity before installation.
